Getting started

After checkout, we provision your server automatically and email you a welcome message with your panel login and connection details - this usually takes under a minute.

Log in to the panel at panel.rcfg.xyz with the email address you checked out with. If it’s your first order, use the "forgot password" link to set a password - accounts are created automatically but don’t get one by default.

02

Connecting to your server

Your server’s IP address and port are shown at the top of its panel page, under Network. Use that address in your game client to connect - for Minecraft, add it as a server in the multiplayer menu; for CS2, connect via the console with the same address.

It can take a few seconds after first boot for the server to finish starting - check the Console tab for a "Done" or "ready" message before connecting.

03

Console and file manager

The Console tab gives you live server output and a command input - you can run admin commands directly from there without needing to be in-game.

The File Manager tab gives you full access to your server’s files: configs, plugins, worlds, and logs. You can edit text files directly in the browser or upload/download via SFTP using the credentials shown in the panel.

04

Changing server version

If your server type supports multiple versions (e.g. different Java releases for Minecraft), you can switch the Docker image it runs on from the Startup tab. Changing this requires a restart to take effect.

05

Backups

You’re responsible for keeping your own backups - see our Terms of Service, Section 7. The panel has a built-in Backups tab you can use to create and download backups of your server manually at any time.

We don’t currently offer a separately managed, automatic backup service - if that changes, this page will be updated first.

06

Common issues

  • Server won’t start: check the Console tab for the error - usually a config mistake or a plugin/mod that doesn’t support your current version.
  • Can’t connect: double-check the IP:port on the Network tab exactly matches what you’re entering - and confirm the server shows as "running", not "starting" or "offline".
  • Locked out of the panel: use "forgot password" on the panel login page. If that doesn’t work, email [email protected] from the address you checked out with.
